15 Lessons from The Alchemist

“Destiny” is what you have always wanted to accomplish. Everyone, when they are young, knows what their destiny is. At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives.

As the time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that its impossible for them to realize their destiny.

That forces that appears to be negative, but actually shows you how to realize your destiny. It prepares your spirit and you will, because there is one great truth on his planet” whoever you are, or whatever is it that you do ,when you really want something, its because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. Its your mission on earth.

  1. When you want something , all the universe conspire in helping you to achieve it.

  2. When you are really close to what God meant you to be here, you are going to experience beginner’s luck.

  3. I have inside me the winds, the deserts, the oceans, the stars, and everything created in the universe. We were all made by the same hand, and we have the same soul.

  4. If a person is living out his destiny, he knows everything he needs to know. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve : fear of failure.

  5. Don’t give in to your fears, If you do you wont be able to talk to your heart.

  6. Before a dream is realized,  the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because  it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing  our dreams, master the lessons we’ve learned as we’ve moved toward that dream. That’s the point at which most people give up

  7. Everyone on earth has a treasure  that awaits them

  8. Tell your heart the fear of suffering is worse that the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.

  9. Why should you listen to your heart?Because you will never again be able to keep it quiet. Even if you pretend  not to have heard what it tells you, it will always be there inside you, repeating to you what you are thinking about life and about the world.

  10. People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don’t deserve them, or that they’ll be unable to achieve them. You will be never be able to escape from you heart. So its better  to listen to what it has to say. That way, you’ll never have to fear an unanticipated blow.

  11. There is only one way to learn. It’s through action. Everything you need to know you have learned through you journey. You need to learn only one thing more.

  12.  How do I guess the future? Based on the omens  of the present. The secret is here in the present. If you pay attention to the present, you can improve upon it. And if you improve on the present,  what comes later will also be better. Forget about  the future, an live each day according to the teachings, confident that God loves his children. Each day in itself, brings with it an eternity. If you can always concentrate on the present, you’ll be a happy man.

  13. Soul of the Word, that is the principle that  governs all things, When  you want something with all your heart, that’s when you are closest to the Soul of the World. It’s always positive force.

  14. Every blessings ignored becomes a curse.

  15. To realize one’s destiny is a person’s  only real obligation.

A Heart Touching Experience~

I was at the bus stop waiting for my bus. Suddenly, I saw a few people were there talking to a disabled man. He was a very poor disabled man, who looked very weak carrying a big heavy plastic bag.

I wanted to walk in front to buy some snacks. But I didn’t know why but my heart wanted me to stay. So I stood there, observing him. Few buses passed by but the driver didn’t stop as the bus was full. The group of people who tried to help him asked him to wait for the next bus. Before that poor man’s bus comes the group of people had to climb on to their buses.

Eventually, he was alone. No one was beside him. He was looking around to see if there is anyone else who could help him. About two minutes later, His bus came. He was not able to stop the bus. Without thinking, I quickly went in front and asked him if he needed to help.  He said a very weak “yes”.

I stopped the bus. As I was about to hold and guide him, he gave me his heavy bag. (Realised that he couldn’t walk with that heavy plastic). I helped him to carry this heavy bag and put on the bus.

When I was trying to put his things on the bus and the driver shouted at me asked me to quickly climb. I was very angry at his behaviour, with a fierce voice, I told him that there is a disabled man trying to climb.

I turned and saw that the poor man was still staying there, he didn’t move an inch. He could barely walk. I quickly ran to him, held him and walked him slowly to the bus. While we were walking, the bus was moving slowly. Both of us were terrified! Luckily few people tried to help to stop the bus.

When the driver saw that poor man,  his face totally changed. I guess he was embarrassed with himself. Once he climbed, I quickly went to a side and disappeared myself hoping no one sees on what just happened.

I was there standing. I felt a feeling that I never felt in a long time. That moment I didn’t know why but I had a very very pleasant feeling that I don’t usually feel. I felt as though I become a human again. I couldn’t describe the feeling but it felt really divine.

I was there asking myself, how come that moment I become so powerful. How come suddenly I became so fearless. How come suddenly I  become brave? Where did the shy me go?

Suddenly I remembered these words: “We are just a servant of God”.  With a grateful heart, I looked at the sky and said: “Thank You”.

My first ever overseas visit~

Recently  I had the opportunity to travel to Hatyai, Thailand. It’s my first ever overseas trip.  It was an incredible experience.

Love to share with you guys some of the pictures I captured.

                                           Visited some beautiful temples.

Had an opportunity to release a couple of birds from their cage.

At the Floating market. There were foods, foods and lots of food.

The sky was really beautiful, so blue and couldn’t  take my eyes of . The view was so calming, I felt so alive.

There is a quote from Dalai Lama :” Once a year  go someplace you’ve never been before”.

I feel so blessed that I finally had the opportunity to travel to a new place.I  learned to look at the world differently. I learned to be alive. I learned to live the moment. The world is a beautiful place after all, I learned to see and feel it.

Thanks for visiting.

You asked

You prayed

You wished

Why are you still worrying?

Why are you still doubting?

Why are you still sad?

You released

You surrendered

Have faith

Everything is taken care

The person up there listened

You just have to believe.

1.  One of the first principles to honour in your relationship with yourself is to respect and trust your own inner voice.

2. Gratitude is a prayer. Getting in gratitude softens the heart, opens the mind, causing even ordinary things to be sacred.

3. It’s a profound practice to offer forgiveness each night before you go to sleep so that you don’t carry resentments into the freshness of the next new day. And it includes self-forgiveness.

4. Affirmation assists us in removing subconscious blockages that would hinder fulfilment of our affirmative declarations. Affirmation statements active the power within us to draw into our magnetic field that which we claim and affirm for ourselves.

5. Taking each day to disconnect to the outer world and connect to our interiority through meditation and other spiritual practices brings us to a place where we can give a surrendered “yes” to life. This “yes” softens the heart and allows peace and trust to prevail.

6. There is no race to finish line, we all evolve according to our on the unique pattern of unfoldment.

7. Visioning isn’t visualization. Visualization utilizes the power of imagination, visioning utilizes the power of intuition. Visualization is a doing process activated by the imagination. Visioning is a knowing and being process arrived by an inner, direct, intuitive realization.

8. You have taken an incarnation to awaken the enlighted expression of who you are and, while you are gracing the planet, to deliver your talents, gifts and skills as your unique contribution to the world.

9. Practice deep listening. Deep listening involves reverent alertness, being wholeheartedly present, whether is be listening to another person or to the inner Self.

10. Happiness does not have to be created; it’s our true nature.

This is a beautiful analogy from The Bhagavad Gita.

There are two birds on the same tree, one bird is pre-occupied for the fruits, leaves and the branches of the tree. The other bird is just sitting there, watching and waiting for the bird to turn around and connect.

The soul and the Supersoul are two friendly birds. The eating bird is our Individual soul and the other bird is the Supersoul. One of the birds (the individual atomic soul) is eating and enjoying the fruit of the tree, and the other bird (Lord/Divine) is simply watching His friend. Lord is the witnessing bird, and our soul is the eating bird. The soul is struggling very hard on the tree of the material body, but as soon as he agrees to accept the other bird as the supreme spiritual master—the subordinate bird immediately becomes free from all lamentations.

The eating bird is fully engrossed with anxiety and moroseness as the enjoyer of the fruits of the tree. But if in some way or other he turns his face to his friend who is the Lord and knows His glories — at once the suffering bird becomes free from all anxieties.”

2 birds

In life, we are too busy being busy until we forget to realise who we really are.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

We are pure consciousness. We are parcels of God. We are here on earth for a reason, and our duty is finding out what our purpose is. As we grow older, we become too busy. We are waking up every day doing things that mean nothing to our soul. We are chasing after material things, money, recognition, fame. We are feeling fearful, worried, sad and depressed. We are fighting and struggling every day as though we have no power within us.

We are so much more than this body. We are limitless. We have the power and capability to go beyond our body. We are the energy, we have the power within and we can heal ourselves and we can change our lives.

The moment we start to think and notice that we are the soul. We are free. Nothing can break our soul. No one can hurt our soul. Our soul doesn’t feel sad, depressed or anxious.

The Universe is there waiting for us to listen. The Universe is there ready to guide us. We just have to clear our chattering mind and listen. Are you ready to listen?
