The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers.basically it is an online blogging award designed to help readers around the world discover new blogs of all genres and niches. It’s also a way to recognize bloggers with the most potential to grow and become meaningful online influencers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.

Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, valued, endearing, and welcome.

          I want to fly to USA. I want to visit Los Angeles. I always wanted to know how does it feel like to live       there.

People I just want you to know that I can be friendly. Just because I am quite,  people who doesn’t know me thinks that I am unfriendly or arrogant. I am just a shy person, and if you really get to know me you will be shocked that I can be funny sometimes.

     I can’t blog without my laptop, writing topic/ideas and also some alone time.

Randam Thoughts~Be present

So I was sitting there worrying.

Worrying about my future

Regretting about my past

feeling upset

of what will come about.

Allowing my mind to repeat its negative thoughts

Behaving like a victim and

letting the negative thoughts to takeover me

as thought I have no control over my mind

as though I have no power within me.


Suddenly  I realised,

I just woke up from a bed

I have roof on my head

and food on my table.

Oh God! How ungrateful I am…..

I was worrying too much  until I forgot

to look at the present and be thankful for it.

The future is not here yet,

the past has gone.

I only have NOW.

I can choose to be present

I can choose to live the moment

I can choose to be alive.

I can choose to breathe


Thank the Lord for this moment

and let the Lord pour his blessings on to me.




Beginner’s Guide to Meditation

Hello Guys. I’m sure you heard about mediation before. Interested but not sure where to start? I would like to share a bit about meditation based on my knowledge and experience.

Before I go ahead, here are some of the benefits of meditation:

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Improved blood circulation
  • Lower heart rate
  • Reduces anxiety
  • Reduces stress.
  • It improves concentration
  • It encourages a healthy lifestyle
  • The practice increases self-awareness
  • It increases happiness
  • Meditation increases acceptance
  • Can Generate Kindness

So let’s get started, here are the tips:

  1. Start small – Start by practising for two minutes for first two days then day by day increase it to five minutes, fifteen minutes then twenty minutes. Grow slowly. Take one step ahead.
  2. Choose the type of meditation that suits you. You may choose guided meditation or unguided meditation. In guided meditation, the teacher usually will guide you on what to do, think and feel. In unguided meditation, you will be listening to calming and relaxing music. Go and search for mediation videos/ audios online( There is a lot of videos on Youtube) or you can even download meditation apps such as Calm, Headspace, Omvana)meditation-music
  3. Find a comfortable position. You may sit on your bed with legs crossed or on a chair with your legs firmly on the ground. Make sure you are sitting still with your back straight.
  4. Find time – Morning is the best time to meditate. Do it first thing in the morning just after you wake up. There is when you brain is in Alpha stage, you will be able to concentrate better at this time. If you are not able to do it in the morning, don’t worry…try to find two to five minutes on your day to practice it. During your day, be present, take a moment to just bring back your focus on your breath. You may do it while you are on the train or bus, during lunch break or in the evening after you are back
  5. Commit– Commitment is really important. Keep on trying. Sometimes you might feel lazy or think ” it’s too hard!”. Don’t quit. “All things are hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end”  Even when you feel like you are not doing it right, its okay, just keep on going, even if you are able to concentrate for two to five minutes, it’s still an achievement. Remember, you don’t have to be perfect.
  6. Jornal – Write down your experiences. Analyze yourself, be aware and see if you can see any difference in yourself. Observe on how you feel and behave, then write it down so you can remember it and surely you will get a motivation to practice meditation more. ( you are surely gonna like it)maxresdefault

On 25th March I woke up to this wonderful notification! I achieved 100 followers on my blog. I am sooo happy 🙂 Yeeeeeaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I don’t know how to express my gratitude to all my followers. I am so grateful for all the 103 souls who clicked FOLLOW on my page. Your one click gave me courage, strength and motivation to keep on going. Thank you to those who took their precious time to read, like and comment, you guys are the best.

Last year I made a decision to focus on my blog, but I was feeling stuck and I had no clue on how to get people to read my contents. I spent so much time writing but I received no likes or comments.

I remember one day I was sitting sadly wondering why I have no followers, why no one wants to follow my blog. I remember talking loudly in front of the window. “Universe, please give me at least 1 follower, please I beg you, at least one.”

One day everything changed. I came across to this angel Keshie:   I got inspiration from her 30-day blog challenge. She was also the first person who liked and commented on my posts. Since then I really started blogging seriously.

Slowly I got 5, 10, 15 followers and every time I see a notification on my WordPress, I jump with joy like a crazy person. 🙂


On the day I had 20 followers I was happily telling my sister and she said that she actually prayed for me that day to have followers. I guess she overheard me asking for followers. I was touched.

I am so grateful to be able to meet a lot of like-minded people here. Everyone here is so creative and talented. What a great place this is!

Yeah! Finally an art after so long!

How much I missed drawing…I feel so good that I took the time to do what I love.It’s been ages since I touched my Art Pencils. I was going through a phase of a hard time. I was comparing myself to others and I was doubting myself. I felt like giving up my love for art.

But I decided to follow my heart and do it even if no one thinks I am good at it. No, I am not going to give up my passion for art! I believe it’s a gift from God and I will keep on doing it.

I was going through my emails and this particular point from Robin Sharma’s article really caught my attention.


“Forgive the unforgiven in your life. They did what they thought was right based on the level of their consciousness, at that stage of their personal journey. If they could have been more loving they would have been more loving” Robin Sharma

It’s a brand-new year and I guess some of us are still living in the past and carrying the person who hurt us behind our back. We are carrying “last year’s” pain into every New Year and that pain stayed within us and we wonder why we are so unhappy in the inside. We are so upset and keep on thinking about that past incident every second, causing us more anger and sadness.

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. – Mahatma Gandhi

By holding grudges, we are allowing negativity to control us and at the end of the day it only affects us. Being angry at someone or something does not bring any benefit to us, only cause us more pain. Holding grudges can cause pain to our heart and body.

Forgiveness is not easy, but let’s forgive for us. Let’s forgive the past bitter incidents, let’s forgive the person who has insult and hurt us, and most importantly let’s forgive ourselves for our mistakes.

If a person who has upset you, you can just forgive them with our mind and heart, we have the power to do so.

“The Universe sent you nothing but angels.” Everyone who has ever entered our lives, even those who have hurt us, is nothing more than messengers to teach us an important lesson. – Neale Donald Walsch

Below is a couple of forgiveness payer shared by Michael Bernard Beckward :

We can say this to ourselves to forgive someone:

“What you did or what you did not do cannot determine my destiny. I forgive you and set you free. I acknowledge that you are doing the best you can, and I honour you in your process of unfoldment. You are free and I am free. All is well between us. Peace is the order of the day.”

For self-forgiveness, say this:

” I sincerely apologize and I release you and me to our higher destiny. I acknowledge that I am doing the best I can. You are free and am free. All is well between us. Peace is the order of the day.”

To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.

Let’s be kind to ourselves, let’s let go of resentments, let’s practice forgiveness. Let’s be free.

2017 has been a tough year for me, lot of ups and downs. A lot of lessons learned and a lot of sweet memories gained.

I am so grateful that finally this year I achieved my blogging goals. At first my goal was to achieve 10 followers, then it was 30, and then I wished to achieve 50 followers…..before end of the year guess what….I achieved it. I am so happy. I am so grateful that I have visited and followed some great talented bloggers here. Super happy to have views form bloggers from many different countries on my articles. I even got nominated for an award. 🙂

It has been a very unhealthy year for me. I fell sick like every 2 months this year. I was weak physically and mentally. I spent a lot of my time in bed, being weak. I had no energy, no goals and no hope. I felt like giving up many times and every time I tried to carry myself back up, I kept on falling. It was really sad knowing that when you are trying so hard, but you are still failing. The only person who was there to motivate me was me. Many people was beside me, but no one truly understood what I was going through.

During my recovery process, I discovered that health is the biggest gift God has given to us. Robin Sharma said, Health is a crown on head on a well person that only a sick person can see. I learned to appreciate my health more and I don’t want to waste any of that gift by scrolling social media or sitting doing nothing useful.

Even when you are not achieving your dream, be grateful that at least you have the power to dream your dream. Some people are so ill that they can’t even dream.


This is one of the lesson I learned and I am committed to take care of myself more as I know if I am healthy and happy, only then I could help the people around me.
